Medical Hospital Unit

Our Medical Hospital is a 25-bed unit offering care for frail elderly patients with one or more chronic conditions who are experiencing an exacerbation of symptoms, and whose needs require specialized geriatric care. Examples of conditions we treat include complex pneumonias, kidney failure, hypotension due to dehydration, challenging diabetes, difficult to heal wounds, infections and inflammatory processes. Our Medical Hospital specializes in caring for patients who present with multiple complex conditions.

Additionally, The Hospital at Hebrew Health Care provides blood transfusions on an outpatient basis. Learn more about this service (PDF).
